Cindy Sheehan: If the Cause is So "Noble", Send Barbara and Jenna Bush

I'm glad to welcome another voice crying in the wilderness over the patently obvious lack of patriotism demonstrated by the Bush Twins and their hand-jerk of a father. But this voice is one that has some clout and some carrying distance and some influential people listening to it.

Cindy Sheehan, co-founder of Gold Star Families for Peace, whose son died in Iraq, wrote a guest editorial for Buzzflash this week.

In response to Bush saying that "the families of the fallen can be assured that they died for a noble cause", Cindy Sheehan asks the simple questions that the SCLM is not willing to ask: Exactly what is this noble cause and if it is so noble, why are Jenna and Barbara Bush not in uniform?

"If George is not ready to send the twins, then he should bring our troops home immediately", she says.

Good for her. We need more voices like Cindy Sheehan's to call bullshit on this bogus war struggle.

Speaking of calling bullshit on it, see you all on September 24 in Washington DC.
