Up Next: Michael Vick as ASPCA Dog Owner of the Year

What the fuck is up with the ABA? They just named Alberto "Torquemada" Gonzales as their Lawyer of the Year. And there's his goofy-looking picture on the cover of The ABA Journal.

Well, isn't that special. The ABA cited, of all things, Time Magazine choosing to put Adolph Hitler and Josef Stalin on their covers as their "Man of the Year" as a precedent for putting Gonzo on their own cover.

And when you think about it, it kind of makes sense. Find the worst example of lawyering and put him up as some kind of negative warning. You know, "Don't do like he did, kids. You might end up with your picture on a magazine cover."

Jesus, what is wrong with those people? After Michael Vick on the cover of Animal Watch, how about Britney Spears for Parenting, or Mary Kay LeTourneau for Educator of the Year on the cover of Teacher Magazine?
