In a not-surprising but still outrageous decision, the Des Moines Register Guard, sponsor of the presidential "debates" in Iowa, chose not to include Dennis Kucinich in its dog-and-pony-show Democratic "debate" this week.
The reason? Well, apparently it's because the Kucinich camp neglected to rent office space in Iowa. Therefore Dennis was not considered a "viable" candidate.
Bullshit! Give me a fucking break already. When you think about it, this isn't that far removed from a poll tax, the chief difference being that instead of a tax payable to the governmental authorities, it's a direct cost to the candidate -- if he wants to be considered "viable" he has to rent an office!
My best guess is that because Kucinich would win hands-down in an election that truly focused on the issues, that old "liberal media" can't stand it. They'd rather have the kind of stupid horse race that they are fostering among the so-called front runners rather than be seen promoting a candidate who really, truly has the best interest of this nation at heart.
Read this and see what you think.

Gotta Love that Liberal Media

Farnsworth, from what I've seen of the previous debates it wouldn't matter that much except in principle.
He, Mike Gravel, and to some extent Chris Dodd, were either cut off in mid-sentence or ignored.
