Phone Cards for Hospitalized Veterans: A Worthy Charity

What with all of the cutbacks and general stinginess of the Baby Doc Maladministration towards the VA and America's veterans, it's refreshing to see a worthy cooperation between the Credo Mobile division of Working Assets and Veterans for Peace to put pre-paid phone cards in the hands of disabled and hospitalized veterans.

Last year the same cooperative put phone cards into 148 VA hospitals which allowed the veterans to make phone calls home for the holidays.

Your tax-deductible contribution of $10.50 will get two-hour phone cards into the hands of three deserving veterans this December. A contribution of $52.50 will get phone cards into the hands of fifteen veterans.

I urge everyone to join me in dropping by and committing some bucks to this worthy cause.
