I Miss Alan Grayson Already

Here, in case you didn't see it the first thousand times it went viral, is his speech on the floor of Congress in which he explains the Rethug Health Care Plan:




I really hope that we haven't seen the last of Alan Grayson. And I have a sneaking suspicion that we haven't. We need a lot more straight-shooting take-no-prisoners bona fide liberals in the public arena, and I don't think Grayson is one to hide his light under a bushel.

Sadly, I heard an interview on NPR with him, wherein he stated he was "done with politics", having scrubbed floors to get through college, and served his constituents to the best of his abilities, he's going back into private business again.

Rethug Health Plan of 2012:
-Only the strong survive the working and middle class lifestyle.
-Use your 2nd Amendment right to eat your gun when your unaffordable chronic health conditions or cancer lower your quality of life to zero.
-It's cool if you're rich or a lawmaker, you'll be fine.
-Public Rethug servants get platinum level care.

For people that pander to bible thumpers and "Christians", they sure do LOOOOOVE applied social Darwinism.

Sadly, I think yesterday's incident shows that when it comes to their bullets, they are more than willing to share with others...
