The new FISA Absolute Power Act passed with the votes of 41 whipped-dog House Democrats. And did you know that now Alberto "Torquemada" Gonzales, of all people, can legally eavesdrop on any telephone conversations made by Americans to any foreign country?
That includes Canada and Mexico. And, since the long-distance rates to those countries are way lower than calls to Europe or Asia, it might be a fun investment of time and a few coins to dial numbers at random and say something cryptic and mysterious, like "the dog is on the cake" or "the mule has left the kitchen" before hanging up.
But if you have some extra cash, calls to pretty much any Middle Eastern country would be even better.
But I'd advise doing it from a pay phone. Do it from your home phone and you'll be off for a nice one-way all-expenses-paid orange-jump-suit-provided tropical vacation.

My senators and rep all voted NO!
:O)
Oh My God, that was funny. Hmmmm, orange really isn't my color, but thanks for the laugh babe.
or you could see the american west for minimal charge and a stay at a secret internment camp- courtesy of the men in the brown shoes.
My congressman voted "no" (lucky for him!) and one senator. The other senator was apparently absent, but I am sure she would have voted "no" also.
I have a listing of those Democrats who voted to give Our Chimperor the power to wiretap:
roster of shame
Freaking link won't work.
If you want the list of shameful craven Democrats, it's on my blog. Look for "Roster of Shame"

Here's a working link to the Roster of Shame.
The only thing better would be to identify the states they represent, but I guess if you live in one of the states (mis)represented by one of these turncoat Dems, you already know it.
Thanks for posting the working link.
Yeah, I thought that folks should know who their Senators and Representatives are. If they don't, shame on them.
