Congratulations to the Graduates

Two of my grandchildren graduated high school this year and I could not be prouder of them. With a national dropout rate approaching 19 percent for their demographic, they still held on, stuck to it, ignored the manifold distractions that our I Want it All and I Want it Now/Instant Gratification Takes Too Long culture provided for them and made it through the long haul.

Now they are both off to college this fall and we have every indication that they will do well there, too.

Congratulations December and Skylar. It's your moment to shine, so make like the human diamonds that you are and have a great summer!
