As I said last week, Darth Cheney has stepped in it now. If he's claiming that he's not part of the executive branch and therefore not accountable for failing to follow a presidential directive, then he is not entitled to the money that congress appropriates for the running of his executive branch office.
And that's exactly what House Democratic Caucus chairman Rahm Emanuel plans to do.
This week he plans to introduce a bill that will strip away the millions of dollars earmarked for the Vice President's office as part of the executive branch.
"This amendment will ensure that the vice president's funding is consistent with his legal arguments," Emmanuel said.
Way to go, Rahm! That ought to get the fucker's attention.
