Insurance companies have not made a stink about this at all, I think because pills are cheaper for them than birthing babys and taking care of sick babies or post birth momma's with depression or bleeding. I don't look for that industry to rush to the church's aid.
The GOP would also see a small reduciton in abortions if pills are given to all women who ask for them, and the money tree that anti-abortion fever is to the zealots is something they would miss dearly.
