Rice Now Calls for "Urgent" Mideast Ceasefire?

Day after day since the conflict began we have been told by our own media that the Baby Doc Maladminstration, under the clumsy hands of Kindasleazy Rice at State and John "Walrus Man" Bolton at the UN, will not call for an immediate ceasefire between the Israeli Irrationals and the Hizbollah of Horror. Various non-reasons were given for this reluctance, none of them reasonable or reality-based.

So then what are we to make of the statement by Kindazleazy herself to reporter Sabra Lane, reported in the Australian media, that "on a stopover in Ireland, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice called for an urgent ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, conditional on both sides addressing the root cause of the conflict"?

And what are we to make of the fact that this statement was reported widely in the international press, but I have yet to find a squeak about it in the American media? Even after it was widely reported just last week that Rice said "no ceasefire" was in the administration's plans.

Liberal media, my ass. They are nothing but a bunch of out-of-touch lapdog lackeys for this sad excuse for a government, refusing to call the motherfuckers on anything. If it's an inconvenient fact that the Baby Doc Maladministration doesn't want publicized, the sycophantic stenographers in the suckup press pool just ignore it.
