Bush Maladministration to America's Veterans: Fuck You #3793

Like we didn't see this one coming. According to the news reports, starting in 2008, health care for our veterans will undergo such dramatic budget reductions that can only be described as draconian.

As with so much else in Baby Doc Fantasyland, this is another faith-based assumption that the need for health care for our veterans will miraculously decline. And like all of the Maladministration's faith-based assumptions, it flies in the face of inconvenient reality.

How in the hell can these fuckers, with a straight face, say that the need for veterans' health care will decline, when they themselves are responsible for the vast increase in the sheer numbers of the severely wounded and permanently disabled from the Iraq debacle who are filling up our VA hospitals to the point where they're starting to look like the Tokyo subway at rush hour? How dare they?

So how about that, Chickenshit Charlie and all of you other self-described Republican veterans who still, with all of the evidence to the contrary already in and even more pouring in daily, blindly follow that draft-dodging veteran-hating lying-sack-of-shit Monkey Boy down the path to the precipice?

How does it feel to have been so completely and totally sold out by a misleader that you were so fucking eager and willing to follow, to support, to vote for, to actually give money to? Got buyer's remorse yet?

One of my guilty pleasures in life is the ability to revel in the use of the phrase "told you so". So, Chickenshit Charlie and all of you other moronic supporters of Baby Doc: "I told you so."

Yup. I'm sorry this is happening. Many of these vets will also have ptsd and need long term treatment. They have been screwed over so bad I dont have the vocabulary to describe it. Well, I get to say "I told you so" too because I never voted for these jerks and I thought the war was and is a lie and the patroit act a scam and now we get wing nuts who want to mess with abortion. Jeeze. Its my body. Well, I get to say "I told you so" again. But thats not enough. We have to educate folks and tell them to vote democratic. Cuz, well, the dems are better than those other pigs.

I just want to say, I'm sorry that they are messing with you.

Slightly ot: It's going to be very, very important to be saying "I told you so." early and often for the next several years.

The Repubs are already trying to rewrite the history of the last few years along the lines of "stab in the back" and we know who they've got picked out as the villains: everybody who told them from the get - go that Iraq, et. al. was a gigantic mistake.

So get ready gang, with your "I told you so." backed up with facts and figures, because The Great Shift The Blame Game is coming.

The blame game is coming! And they are f'ing veterans. Yellow magnets in the shape of ribbons and flags are not enough! Makes me sick.

My last comment seems awkward. Let me clarify. The rethugs are screwing veterans by cutting the budget, by trying to screw with the American Psychological Association's definition of PTSD. They are doing a dreadful disservice to our veterans. These GOP clowns know nothing of service or honor. The past six years have shown that all they care about is feeding their fat cat friends and enriching themselves, too.

Will America be awake in Nov '06?

I would think very soon the Rich will be asking to give that tax break they got back... Cause if they don't when all them vets and the rest of the US gets fed up with it the newly elected government might decide to tax the hell out of them!

Shouldn't push it when you have a good thing going...

They wouldn't do anything with my son's ears (percussion injury - service incurred). He was out for 8 years and when they decided they needed him for cannon fodder, they suddenly found the money for hearing aids.

Then they changed their minds again so we still don't know when or if he'll go.

He's almost 38 for crying out loud and National Guard, of course.
