You fell off my radar, and I wondered where you went. Finally, I went to your site via an old bookmark, deleted you from the RSS reader (which wasn't picking up any of your new posts), tried putting you in fresh, and got this at http://opovet.blogspot.com/atom.xml:
"Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

what about the 75K casualty number....? I would be interested to hear your take on it regarding your always brilliantly relavant Friday By The Numbers entry. I just put up something yesterday about the 300K number that is being discussed from RAND Corp.
Either way, these numbers
A) shouldn't be
B) make me cry

TFWY--
Ever since Blogger went to its new and "improved" format, I've not been able to get a successful news feed attached to the page.
Obviously I'm doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what it is...

Like you I find the figure absolutely appalling, even more so because the current maladministration has been keeping its head in the sand when it comes to increased funding for veterans issue (VA health care, PTSD counseling, job assistance etc etc etc).
And electing McCain will only continue us on the same sad course.
